Arts & Crafts’ venerable folk-rock troubadour Jason Collett is set to embark on a nationwide run of solo acoustic dates slated for the fall of 2010.
Dubbed The Undressed Tour Jason will make his way diligently across Canada from tip to tip - along the way, fans will be treated to soulful, stripped down acoustic versions of songs from Collett’s extensive catalogue, up to and including his 2010 Polaris Prize nominated LP Rat A Tat Tat.
And to coincide with the tour, Jason will release a special collection of previous works, each re-imagined, taken apart and re-recorded with a focus on the beautiful simplicity and intrinsic storytelling at the heart of each song.
The Undressed Tour is Jason seeking a return to his roots, a distinct effort to push away the distractions and reconnect with his many fans in a most intimate way.
Through unconventional venues and that unadorned approach, Collett’s songs will be reemerge stunningly and in their most natural state, expressed in brilliant simplicity by their creator and brilliantly shaded with context from the stories that gave them their very shape.

Daniel has been in the critically acclaimed band Attack in Black for seven years now and has been very successful with his endeavors with this band. Now, for the first time he is branching out into a solo career. Daniel has created a haven for himself in his basement with a fully functional 2 16 track studio and is constantly in production mode. His most recent release, Workin’ For The Music Man, has received almost universal critical acclaim.
Daniel’s music is simple, quirky and honest. It contains elements and influences from his childhood and from his parents; folk tinged ballads and country music paralleling the works of Hank Williams and George Jones.
This album is classic, not only in it’s song writing but in it’s production as well. Daniel recorded the album, which features performances by his father (David), his aunt (Darlene), his love (Misha) and a family friend (Natalie). Workin’ For The Music Man is a close look at about four months of Daniel’s life; it captures the beauty and the struggles of this time with a humorous and humble delivery.
